What is the guest capacity for the venue?
Sarah’s Orchard (between the vines)
For seated guests (i.e. wedding ceremony) 100 guests.
For reception-style seated dining 50 people.
Charlie’s Pavillion (under the tent)
For seated guests (i.e. wedding ceremony) 100 guests.
For reception-style seated dining 75 people.
What are the venue hours?
Our venue is open from 9 am until 9 pm in observance of the local noise ordinance. We don’t permit music or event noise is permitted after hours.
When do items need to be removed after an event?
All items must be removed from the venue at the end of the event. Due to the number of events we host each day we are unable to store, secure, or hold items after the conclusion of an event.
What is the backup plan if rain is predicted?
A predetermined rain backup plan will be made for your event. We can provide high-peak white tents in Sarah’s Orchard (between the vines) if light rain is expected. We can also host most ceremonies inside Charlie’s Pavillion (a weatherproof tent) if inclement weather should occur. Our staff will move furniture as needed before and after the ceremony according to the predetermined customized plan.
Can we bring in outside alcohol?
Yes, we do permit guests to consume alcohol onsite that is served through a bonded and insured caterer or bartender. Guests cannot consume beer or hard liquor onsite (except for wine and champagne) without a bonded and insured caterer or bartender.
Does Norwood Vineyard provide any decor?
We do provide neutral (ivory or black) table linen for tables, and greenery centerpieces for tables. Guests are welcome to bring additional decor to style according to the aesthetic they desire to achieve.
Is there a kitchen onsite for catering?
Our outdoor catering gazebo provides access to a full-size fridge, hot box food warmer, and plenty of prep space for caterers. We recommend caterers bring food warm along with chaffers and burners to keep food heated throughout an event.
Is there parking onsite?
We have onsite parking that can accomodate 25-30 cars. We highly recommend guests use carpooling, rideshare, and shuttle service if they expect more than 30 vehicles onsite.
