Join us on select Fridays and Sundays for our Weekend Wine Tasting & Vineyard Tour — an easy, unhurried two hours spent among the vines with good wine and good company. Whether you’re coming solo, as a couple, or with a small group, you’re welcome here. Each time slot holds no more than fifteen guests, so the experience always feels intimate no matter who shows up.
Join us on select weekends at Norwood Vineyard in Jonesboro,GA for an afternoon rooted in history, family, and the slow pleasure of a good pour. Just 25 minutes south of Atlanta, our weekly Friday and Sunday open group wine tasting experiences is designed for those who want more than a glass of wine — they want the story behind it.
What to Expect
Your reservation begins with a small group (no more than 15 guests per time slot) guided 20-minute walking tour of Norwood Vineyard, led by one of family members or staff. You’ll hear the history of this land, learn about the muscadine vines, and walk the rows that have been tended by our family for 75 years. It is unhurried, personal, and unlike anything you’ll find at a traditional winery.
Following the tour, guests are invited to settle in and enjoy a self-guided tasting of three pours from our curated wine selection. Each flight features muscadine varietal wines procured from Roberts Vineyard or a specially selected offering - all wines rooted in Southern tradition and Georgia soil.
Complimentary light snacks will be available throughout to complement your flight. For the remainder of your two hours, the vineyard is yours to explore, wander, and take in.
What to know before you go:
Tickets are $55 per person and must be purchased in advance. No ticket purchases available at the door. Each time slot may have up to 15 guests
Tickets are non-refundable
Guests must be 21+
This is a rain-or-shine event held under our large Garden Tent Pavillion
In the rare case of severe weather, we will announce a reschedule date or issue a full refund
Norwood Vineyard is located in Jonesboro, Georgia approximately 25 minutes south of Downtown Atlanta and 15 minutes south of the Atlanta airport.
Digital Ticket
A digital ticket will be emailed to the ticket holder via Eventbrite prior to the event date. Please email hello@norwoodvineyard.com if you have not received your digital ticket at least 24 hours prior to the event date.
